We offer a variety of material tests in order to confirm NDE results. Some are carried out in-house others are provided for by specialized laboratories following our instructions.

Pull-Off tests:

Pull-Off tests are carried out employing a "PosiTest AT-A" Automatic Adhesion Tester.
The instrument operates hydraulically and measures the force required to pull a specified test diameter of laminate away from its substrate (off-plane).
The pressure displayed on a digital LCD represents the strength of adhesion to the substrate (Tensile strength).

Breakage within a laminate stack occurs along the weakest plane within the system consisting of a dolly (20 or 50mm diameter), adhesive (to bond the dolly), laminate layers and substrate.
